We hosted a warm and festive family New Year workshop, where parents and children participated together in three themed activities.
To begin, the youngsters rolled mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and pumpkin into balls in the Festive Cooking Station, moulded them into shapes using templates, then brushed them with osmanthus honey before plating up their sweet festive treats.
Next, families entered the Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop, learning about the history and craftsmanship of Song Brocade. After observing the handcrafted pieces, they enthusiastically tried their hand at creating their own, deeply appreciating the beauty of traditional patterns. The journey then continued to the Light and Shadow Studio, where families immersed themselves in an interplay of light and imagery, experiencing the visual splendour of traditional festivals.
Throughout these activities, shared creativity and laughter wove together, creating warm and unforgettable memories for the New Year.
