In the previous school year, we were excited to link with the GuWei Museum to launch “GuWei Culture Fun” as a regular extracurricular activity.

 

_{Our little ones had a wonderful time exploring various cultural themes, including:}

• _{“Classic of Mountains and Seas” (山海經)}

• _{“Blue and White Porcelain” (青花瓷)}

• _{“Chinese Four Gentlemen"  (梅、蘭、竹、菊)}

•   _{"The Snake" (蛇)}

•   _{"Teapots and Teacups" (茶壺茶杯)}

•   _{"Horses" (馬)}

•   _{"Silk Road" (絲綢之路)}

•   _{"Dunhuang" (敦煌)}

 

For each theme, we delved into the beauty and richness of Chinese culture through storytelling, art projects, and appreciation of the GuWei exhibits. All activities were aligned with an aesthetic appreciation of the culture.

 

Cultural cultivation is one of the key missions of our GuWei Culture class. We provide opportunities for children to explore art and culture from different perspectives, strengthening their lifelong learning abilities in an immersive environment. These experiences are irreplaceable and cannot be replicated by technology or AI!
